Skerningham Garden Village Design Code Draft SPD - Drop in Session 22nd September 2022

Design NE will be holding a Drop In Session for the Skerningham Garden Village Design Code - Draft SPD during the official consultation period which allows you to ask specific questions regarding the Draft Design Code produced by us for the Council. Council staff will also be available to explain how you can make your comments to the consultation.

The session will be held on Thursday 22^nd Sept 2022 between 15:30 – 19:30 at Harrowgate Hill WMC and Institute, Salters Ln N, Darlington DL1 3DT

Skerningham Garden Village Draft Design Code SPD

Consultation on the Skerningham Draft Design Code SPD will run until Monday 17 October 2022 at 5pm.

The design code is required as part of the recently adopted Darlington Local Plan 2016-2036 and reflects the requirements in government guidance.

It sets out a design process and design principles for developers to follow when preparing their plans for a new Garden Village.
