A consultation is currently underway on the Skerningham Garden Village Masterplan. This is being prepared by prospective applicants and is not a Darlington Borough Council led consultation.

By Planning Policy Team at 6 Nov 2023Consultation on emerging proposals for the development of land to the North of Darlington town are taking place during October 2017. The first event is being held on Wednesday 11th October and the second will be held on Saturday 14th October.
The promoters of the Skerningham Garden Village site, Theakston Estates, will be engaging with local residents and businesses so that their views can be used to inform the development of a masterplan for the site.
