Citizens Advice have a network of independent charities which offer confidential advice online, over the phone or face to face.
This service is free and available to everybody
Routes to Work
Routes to Work can support anyone over the age of 16 with information, advice and guidance.
They can help people prepare for the world of work and on to a successful career path.
Youth Employment Initiative
The Youth Employment Initiative exclusively supports young people who are not in education, employment or training, including the long-term unemployed or those not registered as job-seekers.
ESF Community Grants Programme (CGP) 2019
There are grants of between £10,000 and £20,000 available for individual projects. The goal of the CGP is to enable appropriate third sector and other small companies access ESF funding.
Since 1995, Morrisons Trust have been providing employment support services for people in Darlington who are finding it hard, for a variety of reasons, to get a job.
They have projects including 'Care Leavers Job Club', 'Moneyworks' and 'Step Forward Tees Valley'
