The Workforce Development Team provides learning & development support to staff employed in People Services within Darlington Borough Council and partner agencies.
Learning & Skills
Learning & Skills Ofsted are a rated grade 2 provider based at the Coleridge Centre in Skerne Park. They offer a wide range of learning opportunities for all ages, from apprenticeships to adult learning.
Darlington Safeguarding Partnership
Safeguarding responsibilities are placed on police, health and local authorities to work together to safeguard and promote the welfare of children. The three organisations have equal responsibility for setting out the safeguarding arrangements in Darlington.
Daisy Chain
Daisy Chain began life in 2003 as the dream of its founder, Lesley Hanson, whose son Jacob was diagnosed as autistic at an early age. Daisy Chain provides a range of support services to autistic children and adults, either with a diagnosis or who are undergoing the diagnostic process, their parents/carers and their siblings.
